Still busy!

Am sorting out new flat and old flat and dealing with various people at old flat renovation leaves me little time to blog.  Good job I'm not working.  That appears to be getting sorted to!

It is my and OH 5th wedding anniversary today and although we don't usually celebrate that much we did buy each other a little box of chocs and went out for a meal at The Thai Restaurant and it was scrummy.


Tomorrow night I am off to see a band with my friend.  Should be fun.  Been so down this week but feel better today!

Hope my readers are well,  I have been reading blogs just not writing my own as not so easy on laptop!

Am still busy!! Thinking of Christmas but not too deeply just yet!!

Sorting out new home and old home.  It's amazing what you have to sort out.  It's a big decluttering operation.  Also we have had to renew car insurance, we haggled £130 off our multi car insurance, better deal for both of us!

I have almost got new home sorted but old home needs sorting out ready for our items to go into storage although the man in charge has gone on holiday for three week so there is a delay.

I am trying to be good with money, shops have informed me Chrismas is on its way and I am not so organised this year.  I am going to have to cut back.  I might send less card then usual as well as presents.  I am only allowed to put a tree up here so that will be all the decorations sorted!

Well back to reality and off to sort out one of the millions of things that need doing including complete the ESA50 form!!!

Moved! Well sort of.

Moved last Saturday taking what we can.  Property not ready but we made the best of it.

Our flat is nearby so I can pop back each day to check on things.

My poor hubby looks worn out.  We had to clean new place not fair we were told they had got cleaners in! Also there is a problem with the loo. Other than that we have a lovely balcony and property is newish I prefer modern!

We shall dry washing on the balcony that will save us a bit!!  We are still trying to be MS but it was hard recently with paying the deposit on a new property despite Insurance company saying they would.Ncontbents insurance company was helpful as they are covering both places until our place is empty for no extra charge!!  Council tax has gone up tho.  Oh well swings and roundabouts!!

Missing

Apologies for lack of posts but I've been sorting out finding a property, removals, work issues and claiming ESA.  Had a lovely guy who answered the phone and although I was miffed at waiting 30 minutes for my called to be answers, he was nice and helpful and most importantly none judgmental. After all I heard lately about ESA I wasn't going claim it buy I need it.

I am also claiming for a Council Tax rebate, every little helps.

I'll update again when I can!!

Hope Springs

Saw this film last night and it was very funny!  We saw it for free via Virgin Media.  Was uplifting.  It is about a couple who have lost their mojo.  They sleep in separate rooms and almost live like lodgers.  It seems sad after 31 years of marriage.

The wife (Meryl Streep) discovers a therapist (Steve Carell) may be able to help them.  However her husband (Tommy Lee-Jones is less than enthusiastic.

I really enjoyed this film it made me forget my troubles for an hour and a half.

Due for release in the next week or so I believe.
